Horrified Eastern Cape villagers
on Thursday chased pigs away from the disfigured body of a 52-year-old
man who is believed to have been killed by dogs before being eaten by the
pigs.
Police spokesperson Captain Sibongile Ndyoko said on Thursday that Sipopo Sebenzi and a friend are believed to have been drunk on Wednesday and had been attacked by dogs while walking home. The friend was bitten on the leg, but he managed to run away. Sebenzi is believed to have been killed by the dogs. Ndyoko said Sebenzi's left arm had been severely disfigured and his thighs and stomach were eaten. A post mortem would be held to determine the exact cause of death, Ndyoko. - Sapa |
