BOB MAHLBURG STAR-TELEGRAM STAFF WRITER FORT WORTH - A man was in serious condition at a Fort Worth hospital yesterday after being bitten by an Egyptian cobra, a venomous but common snake often kept as a pet, authorities said. The man, whose name was not released, drove himself to Harris Methodist Fort Worth, hospital spokeswoman Ashley Wesson said. Antivenin to treat the man was flown to Fort Worth from the Dallas Zoo, zoo officials said.
